  2. AF-OM220A

    This Rugged optical power meter is the ideal tool for measuring optical power of both multimode and single mode applications. When used with an LED source or a laser source the AF-OM220 can be used to measure insertion loss (attenuation) in both multimode and single mode fiber optic cables whilst saving 500+ results and readings. Using the supplied Windows® Compatible software and USB or serial connection, test records may be transferred to a PC for storage, display, printing, and analysis.

  4. OP735 Benchtop Optical Power Meter

    The OptoTest OP735 Benchtop Optical Power Meter can be configured with up to 4 channels and a mix of InGaAs, Silicon, and High Power Detectors. This unit is ideal as a compact,  stand-alone power meter or used in conjunction with a stabilized light source to measure insertion loss.

    Designed for high speed data acquisition on fibre optic components, the OP735 provides absolute or relative measurements with high resolution and tight linearity specifications.

    The unique remote head solution gives the user more flexibility with hard to manage components or bulky fibre optic cables. Our series of detectors include a remote head or an Integrating Sphere which is ideal for bare or ribbon fibres. Adapters are available for all common connector types including FC, ST, SC, LC, etc.

  5. OPRH Remote Head Power Meters

    OptoTest’s Remote Head Power Meters (OPRH) create a highly adaptable fibre optic test environment when coupled with a supporting mainframe (eg OP940, OP815, etc.) and maintain the same high level of accuracy and repeatability as panel mounted detectors.

    With its ergonomic design and flexible cable, OptoTest’s OPRH can be manipulated for use with hard-to-manage test cables. They are also ideal for measuring fibres terminated with simplex connectors such as LC, SC or FC as well as high density connectors such as MTP® or MXC™.

    Remote heads are available in 1mm, 3mm, 5mm, and 10mm InGaAs, 2mm high power InGaAs, and 3mm Silicon varieties. The cable that connects the remote head to the mainframe is typically 40”, but can be customized to meet customer requirements.

  6. OP712 USB Optical Power Meter

    The OP712 is a standalone USB powered and operated power meter. It can be integrated into the test and measurement process with any OptoTest Applications.

    Absolute power and insertion loss (IL) are accurately measured with this USB power meter when used in conjunction with the corresponding software such as OPL-LOG and OPL-MAX. It is ideal for measuring fibres terminated with simplex connectors such as LC, SC or FC. The OP712 can also be used for high density connectors such as MTP or MPO.

    An OP712 outfitted with a large area detector can be used to test high density connectors such as MTP/MPO. 

    The LAAD series of adapters offer a quick-change magnetic interface and is available for all standard connector options.

    Using the OPL-SDK, the user can write custom applications to control the OP712.

  8. OP510 Optical Power Meter Module

    The OP510 was designed as a cost effective solution for measuring, monitoring and logging of insertion loss or power fluctuations. The OP510 is a small (4”x2”x1.25”) portable module designed to minimize movement and bending of the reference and test cables. This results in stable, accurate and repeatable measurements.

    A unique feature of the OP510 is the 16 position bar graph. The display will show an approximate absolute power or relative power after referencing with the test button.

    The OP510 is offered with a choice of 1mm or 3mm InGaAs, 2mm High Power InGaAs, or 3mm Silicon detectors. It can be used with a universal adapter system or fixed optical interface to cover a wide variety of applications.

    The USB-powered module connects directly to the computer. OptoTest provides drivers and applications that allow the user to perform common measurement tasks such as EXCEL compatible data logging or time-stamped stability measurements.
